Solar Power

By Xander Davenport

Solar power is a product of sunlight which has collected and is converted into electricity. Solar panels, occasionally called a solar module or a photovoltaic panel, are numerous photovoltaic cells laid on a giant flat panel used as an element of a giant photovoltaic system that generates and supplies electricity.

Often employed in faraway locations where energy sources are scanty, solar power is now becoming popular for home and commercial applications.Since a single panel can only produce limited power, most installations use several solar panels. Photovoltaic systems frequently consist of a spread of panels, inverters, an interconnection wiring and at times a battery. Solar power has many applications these days especially in houses located in outlying areas.

A variety of energy-producing systems like a solar mobile phone chargers, solar hot water systems, and solar air conditioning have also been developed for personal or economic use. These solar energy systems aid in making life less complicated for everyone as they can be used with a free source of energy, the sun. Solar energy is extremely necessary. For instance, a solar water heating system, in contrast to a commercial or standard water heater, needs the heat of the sun to produce hot water. A standard boiler will use gas or electricity to provide hot water or make it warmer.

Apricus, set up in 2003, is one of the few worldwide corporations which lead the charge in the design and producing of products manufacturing solar water and other heating products. With offices in the United States, France and Australia, Apricus provides solar power help to over 30 states that need solar power in their regular lives.

Solar air conditioning systems, on the other hand, use earth cooling tubes powered by the sun to either reduce or maybe eliminate typical necessities of an air conditioning system. These tubes are the key to making the temperature suitable for people to live, as they can reduce summer heat or the heat of a building's interior. In brief Earth cooling tubes don't come inexpensive especially for environments with hot and humid tropical weather so solar power is essential to power up this system.
