Located in the Belecegiz Bay, a short trip from Fethiye proper, I cannot recommend this enough. Word to the wise: you should arrive in Fethiye two to three days before your cruise begins, which will allow you time to enjoy the beaches, the tombs and, of course, the Blue Lagoon.
History buffs will greatly appreciate the sunken city of Kekova. Once a pillar of civilization, Kekova was leveled by an earthquake in the second century A.D. It was reconstructed and gained back some of its original glory before being sieged by Arab invaders. Many cruises offer day trips to this site, ending the rest of the day outside Gokkaya.
